2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe Specs, Price

The 2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe is expected to be unveiled after the launch of the upgraded Mazda 6, and would be locally known as Mazda 6 Coupe. This vehicle holds tremendous potential to become one of the most popular in the market as it features stellar configuration in terms of engine and performance, fantastic exterior visuals, and luxurious interiors that one would be ready to die for. The company’s plan to offer different versions of the popular Mazda has been criticized after a careful analysis of previous sales records that suggest there is a potential market for more car styles, which is just waiting to be tapped.

2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe – Exterior and Interior Visuals

The outer body of 2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe is based on the company’s popular KODO design that greatly optimizes vehicle weight along with strength based body construction. This coupe model will boast of many changes, among which are a large grille and a bolder front bumper which serve as highlights.

Prominent lines and cuts have been introduced to the car’s body to add more details, and wheel arches look fantastic when compared to the previous version. This car is also slightly more masculine than its predecessor and the elegance factor is also on point, so as to garner more attention from all types of luxury car lovers.

Details about the interior of 2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe is yet unknown as the company has not revealed any information that can be considered to be credible. But as for reliable sources, we’ve got to know that the coupe model will boast of a lower stance than its sedan variant but will most certainly feature comfortable seats and ample amount of room for all passengers.

As per recent trends, it would be only normal to expect that this model will come with leather-covered seats, a premium grade dashboard, infotainment characterized by a large touchscreen display and a solid audio system that will turn every ride into a party.

2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe – Engine Specs

This aspect has not yet been discussed by the manufacturer but we are likely to receive some news soon as we are getting closer to the date of release. But as per expectations, we are hoping that 2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe will come with an engine that can deliver at least above 185 hp.

There are reports that a hybrid variant, and a diesel-electric version is also being developed, which will definitely boost up the mileage rate in comparison to the base version. Even though there is a great deal of mystery shrouding this vehicle, our reliable sources have credibility to their name in predicting such configuration with acceptable level of accuracy.

2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe – Price and Release Date

No official statement has been released by the company but we can expect the 2017 Mazda MX-6 Coupe to cost almost the same as its sedan counterpart. There is no reason that this should be priced higher as it all comes down to difference in personal opinions, in choice of cars. If the model does not arrive by the end of 2016, it will definitely be found in showrooms towards the beginning of 2017.

I have a 2016 Mazda6 black gran touring and it is a truly impressive car for the price.
the interior is a major improvement over my 2014. Sure, I would like more power but like the 2012 Miata I had before, I can go fast enough to get speeding tickets…. and I love the fuel economy.
waiting for the coupe to come out so I can trade.

So, after wetting our appetite for a sleeker, 2017 Mazda 6 coupe, there is no official release date, photos, pricing? I guess the 2016 Mazda 6 is a “fail”, and too many are still on Dealer lots. I a,m guessing the 2017 Mazda Coupe will only be available overseas, until the spring of 2017? Or, possibly late 2017, like November?

  4. Trevin Thomas says:

When is the 2017 going to be released? I would purchase immediately.

Mazda South Africa have removed the current Mazda6 from their price list.

They are apparently waiting for the ‘world wide’ announcement of the new model.

  8. John Keitley says:

Will there be a manual transmission available? The only reason why we have not bought the current Mazda 6 is because we don’t want an automatic. Give us a manual, please!!

  9. Mr. J. Cortez says:

I have a 22 yr. old Millennia w/217000 miles in very good condition, good mpg etc. and love it though I’d love to have the new ’17 Mazda 6. What. I don’t like is the fact that the closest dealers (3) w/in blocks of each other BUT about 30 miles from me making it a very considered decision to pursue to buy and seek service. I’m older and retired and this would be my ver last car.Why 3 dealers thete and none herr??????

  17. Garver says:

I have own seven of the first gen MX-6 GTs, overall the best cars I have owned even over my BMWs!
This vehicle has beautiful lines. One vast improvement over the average appearance of the 1988-1991 generation. I will be one of the first in line providing two things, a manual transmission and a turbo. I believe if these options are made available, there would be a strong following from the MX-6 GT lovers.
